Garanlabel collects nothing. No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, no tracking, and no identifiers. Nothing you type or import is sent anywhere.
What stays on your Mac
Labels are drawn on your machine. The product lists you import, the labels you export and the folders you choose never leave it. The app keeps two things locally: your credit balance, and a list of the labels credits have already been spent on, so regenerating them is free. Both live in the app's own container, with a copy of the balance in your keychain so purchased credits survive reinstalling the app.
When the app uses the network
Only to complete a purchase of credits, which goes through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment; Garanlabel never sees your payment details, name or address, and receives nothing beyond confirmation that a purchase succeeded. Apple's own handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's privacy policy.
Nothing else in the app connects to the internet. Opening the QR code's destination or a link in the app hands the address to your browser, which is then between you and that site.
This website
The site is a set of static pages with no cookies, no advertising and no tracking scripts, and it asks you for nothing. Downloading a label file needs no account and no email address. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes the technical request data any web server receives — IP address, time, the page requested and your browser's user agent — to deliver the page and to protect the site against attack; we use aggregate visit counts only to see whether the site is worth keeping, and those counts identify nobody.
If you write to support
An email you send contains whatever you put in it, plus — if you used Help ▸ Report a Problem… — the app version, your macOS version and your language setting. Mail to support@garanlabel.com is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to a personal mailbox. That message is read to answer you and is not used for anything else, not passed on, and deleted once the matter is closed. The report never includes your product data or your file names; the app shows you the whole message before it is sent.
Children
The app is a tool for businesses and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone, of any age.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have rights of access, correction and erasure over personal data held about you. Since the app collects no data, there is normally nothing to access or erase; the one exception is correspondence you have sent to support, which you can ask to have deleted at support@garanlabel.com.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the date at the top changes with it. A change that affects what the app does would come with a new version, and would be described in the release notes.
